Pathspell is a word path duel published by Queuelab (“we”, “us”) under the Queuegames brand. Contact for privacy matters: contact@queuegames.app.

The short version

No account required. Solo and Daily play stay on your device. Online duels use Google Firebase for anonymous sign-in and live match state. We do not sell your personal information. Optional ads may appear when you leave a finished solo game; you can remove them with an in-app purchase. A friend rematch is never ad-taxed.

What the app does

Pathspell is an original word-path puzzle: trace one continuous path across every cell of the board once, where multi-word chips are ordered segments along that single path. You can play solo, a shared Daily, or race a friend live online — without creating a username, email, or password.

Data we process

On-device game data. Stats, streaks, settings, and purchase entitlement flags are stored locally on your device.
Anonymous authentication (online play). Multiplayer signs in anonymously with Firebase Authentication, creating a random user id not linked to your name or email by us.
Online match data. Match documents, invite codes, and short-lived tokens live in Cloud Firestore and related Cloud Functions (region europe-west1) for multiplayer only. Each player's secret solution trace is handled so peers do not receive unfair spoilers. Match data is designed to expire (TTL).
In-app purchases. Optional purchases (extra_paths, remove_ads) are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play Billing. We receive entitlement information, not your full payment details.
Diagnostics & usage. To keep the app stable we may use Firebase Crashlytics (crash reports) and Google Analytics for Firebase (aggregate usage), keyed to a random, app-local id — never your name or email. We also use Firebase Remote Config to toggle features safely (including an ads kill switch).
Advertising. The app uses Google AdMob to show full-screen ads at limited seams (for example when leaving a finished solo game to Home). Friend rematches are never ad-taxed. Where required (for example the EEA/UK), a consent form (Google UMP) is shown before ads are requested. You can remove ads with the optional in-app purchase Remove Ads.

If GDPR or similar law applies, you may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data we hold, and lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in Poland: UODO). Contact: contact@queuegames.app.

Children

Pathspell is a general-audience word game, not directed at children under 13 (or the age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy when the product or law changes; the effective date above will be revised.
